Elton - Private Guide in Berat

Hello, my name is Elton, I was born in Berat and since 2010 I work as a tour guide in Albania and Region.
I have a diploma in History and a master in Archeology. Also I have a lot of experience in Cultural Heritage management, since I have been involved in different projects with focus preparation of progress reports for the UNESCO sites in Albania: Butrin, Berat and Gjirokastra. Another strong reference point is my knowledge in Tourism industry and the interaction with Cultural Heritage. During the years of the University I was part of archaeological and conservation projects in allover the country. The direct contacting with the people and sharing the personal experience I think is another good point that I can transmit to the customer. My family and I live in Berat, one of the architecture traisure in Albania and Balkans. I hope that this general information we will have a lot of things to discuss during the tours. Also I have deeply information and knowledge in religious art and architecture, mostly to the Byzantine heritage and ottoman influence during the medieval period.
