My wife and I have never been to Portugal and we hope to be there Aug. 10-15 2021. I want to spend time in Lisbon and south to Algarve area where I wanted to check out some real estate. We are retirement age and have traveled in Europe some over the years.
We are not extravagant by any means, simple middle class people who enjoy history and looking at alternatives for part time visiting and living outside the US.
I am starting to see what costs are for services such as yours and see what we can afford. Thankyou

I am pleased to inform availability and willing to start working again :)
I understand you have some limited time for Portugal , just 5 days. So you might have to do the best of your time while you are here. I would suggest a day trip combining Lisbon highlights with suburbs ( Sintra and coastal line of Cascais and Estoril). Then proceed to the Algarve that means about 3 hours driving, depending where we are heading in the southern most province. My family is Vila do Bispo and Boliqueime ( west and central Algarve ) so I know quite well the area.
A day trip of Lisbon, with SIntra and Cascais costs 270 Euros. That is about the cost per day while travelling to the Algarve, including 200 kilometers per day. Accommodation and meals might have to to be considered as well.
Please let me know if you have an idea where to go, in the Algarve , or if you need some kind of assistance.

My husband and I are travelling to Portugal for the first time in September and have a few nights in Lisbon before staying at the beautiful Areias do Seixo (A-Dos-Cunhados).
We are hesitant about hiring a car and it does not appear that we can travel by train to Areias do Seixo. Could you please provide a cost estimate for driving from Lisbon to Areias do Seixo if this is a service that you offer?

Then, driving south of Lisbon, the natural park of Arrábida that still preserves the original mediterranean vegetation. Further south, in Alentejo, a vast ondulating plain, filled with cork trees and its wildlife, where also some of the most reputed winesgrapes grows.
