Answers about Hungary
While I am in Hungary I want to check out some of the wineries that are located in the country. Are there any wineries that you know of that are perfect for tourists and aren’t highly expensive? I am a red wine drinker and would love to be able to taste freshly made Hungarian wine.

Hello! I am happy that you visit Hungary. There are many wineries, it depends, how much you are willing to travel from Budapest. The nearest real red wine area is about 120-140 km (70-80 miles) from Budapes: cities Eger Villany, Szekszárd. But, at about 40 km (25 miles) I know a very good winery where you can taste all kinds of quality wines from all around the country. But that is mainly a white wine growing area.
I can take you there by car.
My fees are: 180-220 EUR/day depending on the distance: this includes car, gas, parking and me driving, guiding and translating. If you decide to rent a car and you want to drive, my fee for the day is 150 EUR/day.
This price is not per person, but per tour.
Yours sincerely,

The best wine regions aren't so close to Budapest. Visiting Eger (about two hours) makes for a nice combination of wine-tasting and site seeing. But the most famous red region is in Villany in the far south of the country (about 3 hours from Budapest). Let me know if you have any more questions

Sorry, almost forgotten:in Eger it’s also possible to visit the vineyard of one of Hungary’s top winemakers. Here you are escorted around and informed about their every day routin.
Of course, I can take you there.

Hungary has 22 different wine regions. Some of those are world famous(Tokaj, Eger). Tokaj is known of its white wine and the "Bull's Blood of Eger" is the most noted red wine in Hungary.
Other great "red areas" are Villány and Sopron.
There are smaller and bigger cellars and companies where clients can have tasting (in some places it is available to look around as well).
I'd recommend Eger (this is the closest to Budapest and the town itself is worth visiting too.
