I have been living in the DR for 13 years, after 4 years studing in UK & 1 year living in Mexico.
I live in Puerto Plata and I go trekking normally once a month to Armando Bermudez National Park (Pico Duarte). I have dive most of the island including the most popular sites, caves and wrecks.
My travel experience starts in 1988 in Kenya. Some highlights included, trekking in Baliem Valley (Papua New Guinea), Dayak territory (southen Borneo), Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Corcovado (Costa Rica), rafting Zambezi river (Zambia).
Trekking, diving and working in the tourist industry. Wide experience and a lot of local contacts.
Great food lover and orchid hobbist. Dive instructor since 1997.
