Hello there! Currently I work as private guide in Berlin, but at first I used to be an officer at the Metropolitan Police. Before retiring from there, I went through a special tour management course so currently I am a licensed guide and registered with the Global Guide association. You should take into consideration that all the guided tours in Berlin that are organize are walking tours.

Originally I am not from Berlin, but for the past 12 years I visited it at least 6 times a year and continued my research regarding its history and culture. Eventually I managed to publish my own book – “History and guide to Berlin”. It was a great success for me, but I continued improving and revising the text and I am thinking of republishing my book in the nearest future. I enjoy organizing walking tours and accompany foreigners in Berlin. Out of all the private tours of Berlin, my tours are most flexible.  All of them are bespoken and made up to meet the needs and desires of my clients.

I am eager to accommodate my tourists, and it would be great if you share your idea concerning the places we could include in our itinerary. I really enjoy my current job, and take it very seriously. That’s why I provide only high quality service. Probably you would ask me why I chose to retire my last job, and started quite a different business. Well, that’s because guiding is absolutely fascinating. I like meeting new people and sharing with them my experience and knowledge.

What a nice days we spend in Berlin thanks to Mr. Boyle (John). We spend two days with him.
The first day we visit the city of Berlin and the second he took us to Postdam.
He made us enjoy the city, the history and his great knowledge about everything.
Thank you John even we had temperatures minus 10º Celsius.
