In 2013 Munich was ranked by Monocle as the world’s most livable city with the highest quality of life.
Visit the German Museum and you will see the oldest science museum in the world. Exhibits include collections of paleontology, geology, mineralogy, zoology and anthropology. Munich is filled with art galleries. At the Glyptothek you can see a Peter Paul Rubens collection including a two-story-high Judgment Day painting, Greek and Roman art, sculptures from the archaic age, mosaics and reliefs.
