You'll travel trough some of Iceland's best farmland, but also various volcanic formations including the infamous Eyjafjallajokull glacier which erupted in 2010. You'll see domestic animals including the Icelandic horse. View the Atlantic Ocean from the "Black Beach" and most likely make a lunch stop in Vik.

In summer everything is pristine green, but in winter the mountains and the roads may be full of snow. The summer temperature is around 10 degrees C / 50 F, and in winter it is 0 C / 32 F. Bring clothes to Iceland suitable for the season. Expect rain, wind and cold every day - but hope for the best :-)
