Information about Dublin

Dublin is a lovely green city on the mouth of the River Liffey in Ireland. It is also the  capital city and the most populated area in the country. Several rivers intersect the city and there are many beautifully landscaped parks throughout, including the breathtaking National Botanical Gardens. Its mild climate, picturesque scenery, historical landmarks and youthful vibe offer a welcoming atmosphere for its nearly 3 million inhabitants and for the many tourists who make it their vacation destination.

Important landmarks of the city include 800-year-old Dublin Castle, and Trinity College which houses the famous Book of Kells. Visitors also enjoy seeing the Molly Malone Statue on Grafton Street, and the newest monument, the Spire of Dublin.
