Rotem - Private Guide in Tel Aviv
B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Soil and Water Science, Israeli Folk Dancing Instructor, Licensed Israel Tour Guide
Languages: English, Hebrew
My name is Rotem, and I am a licensed tour guide here in Israel. I was born here, in Tel Aviv, but when my parents moved to the US, specifically to Miami, when I was two years old I had no other choice but to go with them. I grew up there, so I am fluent in English, and after finishing up my M.Sc., I made aliyah and moved back to Israel.
Since making aliyah I've done quite a few things. I started a PhD in Hydrology, although I have not yet completed it, I worked for a non-profit organization called Sustainable Development for the Negev, which does exactly what it sounds like it does, and I was even a Greenhouse Coordinator at a Regional High School near Be'er Sheva. Even though I did all these things, I felt that they weren't my true calling, and I continued searching for my dream job here in Israel.
When I decided to enroll in the tour guide course, I felt that I'd found my way, and now I am guiding tours throughout the country, and will be glad to guide your next tour as well!
You are welcome to register for a tour listed here through the site, or to contact me and we can custom build a tour for you, seeing whatever sights you'd like to see during your stay in Israel.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
