I have spent the first 20 years of my life here in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, after which I spent 1 year in Freiburg, Germany studying the German language and about 2 years in Switzerland at a hotel school and doing my practicals there, from where I picked up my German language skills.

When I returned to Malaysia in 1979, I worked in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, my hometown and also in major 6 star hotels in Singapore but I did not like being confined to the restaurants or the hotels I worked at. I then took on a Tour Guiding course with the intention of keeping abreast with my already acquired knowledge of German.

From 1985 onward I got into tour guiding ever since till now and have been enjoying it. Besides guiding in the English and German language, I also picked up some conversational Korean from this job when Korean Tourism was at it's infancy in the late 1980's.

I am at the moment, doing many 7 to 10 days Tour, usually private all around Peninsular Malaysia and my preference would be to conduct my Tours in either English or German.
