Most of the foreigners who come to the kingdom of Morocco are interested in visiting a real Moroccan market, or the Berber souk. This tour will give you an opportunity to take a look at the market as it is, buy souvenirs and presents for your friends and relatives. As you know Morocco is famous for its countless kinds of spices.

You will have a unique opportunity to buy all the spices you need at the Berber souk. But you should take into consideration that the market in Morocco doesn’t work the way it works in other countries. It is open only on Sundays, so plan this trip only for Sunday.  This kind of souk is a typical thing for the Moroccan rural life. Each Sunday people from the neighborhood come to sell their goods, and buy all the things they would probably need during the week. Besides the local merchants, you will also see the craftsmen.

You will be shocked after finding out how the Moroccan dentists work without any modern equipment. You will probably have an impression that had a journey back in time. After visiting the Berber souk, we will return to Tangier. We will have a little private tour in Tangier and then proceed to the little fishing town Asilah.
