The tour starts in the old Medina. We'll go through the small walking streets of the Kasbah to understand how the locals live. We'll visit their public bakeries, the spice market & the Berber Market to purchase our fruits & vegetables. You'll also learn and have some history of the Arab spices & their benefits.

The experience is not only about learning how to make local meals. In addition, you'll have lunch with local Berbers instead of eating in touristy restaurants.

Choose to make a 'tagine' (slow-cooked stew), couscous dish, bread, pastries, or salad, and visit a souk to pick up ingredients.

Once you've chosen, visit a nearby souk and explore the stalls selling all manner of fresh produce and foods. Soak in the aromas and colors, peruse the wares, and with help from your guide, pick out the best ingredients for your dish.
