Culture and History tour in Nizwa, Jabrin, Al Hamra

Today we are going to drive to the silver capital of Nizwa and visit the round tower fort built in 17the century and the famous silver souk. We then pass the UNESCO listed Bahla Fort and village famous for pottery, you enter Oman's finest astle Jabrin which was built at the end of 17th century. Here we will find it's beautiful ceiling paintings and woodcarving.

One of the highlits of our trip is Bait Al Safah heritage house nestled at 16th century building of abandoned village at Al Hamra. Here we can lern how the local Omani women and children live their daily life and experience their great hospitality.

We then stop at beautiful village of Misfat Al Abryeen and walk through the palm plantations with its Falaj, the traditional Omani irrigation system.

Once we drive back to Muscat, we explore an abandoned village and UNESCO protected falaj of Birkat Al Muaz at the foot of Jebel Al Akhdar.
