The capital of Sindh and the largest most populated city of Pakistan is Karchi. This city is the 2^nd largest city in the world by population within city limits. Karchi is Pakistan’s economic center and is home to some of the largest corporations in Pakistan including textiles, shipping, automotive, entertainment, arts, advertising, publishing, medical research and others. 

Karchi is known as ‘The Bride of the Cities’ as it was the birth and burial place of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. The city is also known as the ‘City of Lights’ as the nightlife is vibrant and lively. The most historic site is Chowkandi Graveyard. Here you will find tombs that are hundreds of years old. Museums include; National Museum of Pakistan, Pakistan Air Force Museum and Pakistan Maritime Museum. Karachi Zoo, Safari Park and the beaches are popular attractions as well. 

Traditional Karchi cuisine includes rice cooked with fish and a pancake made with rice flour. But you can find many options for food in Karchi.
