Most of the people who have been to Lisbon, the glorious capital of Portugal, say that Lisbon is especially beautiful at night, when the light is dim. That’s why this private tour in Lisbon, unlike all the other ones, is held at night.

You would be surprised but all the things you are used to see in the daylight may look quite different at night. That’s the effect I am counting on! Lisbon may seem an unknown place for you, if you look at it in at first at dawn and then at night. Our first stop will be in the Lower Town, where we will explore such landmarks as Marquis of Pombal Square, Restauradores square, Rossio square and Avenida da Liberdade. Afterwards we will proceed to the Basilica da Estrela (Estrela Basilica) which has a world-wide fame due to its magnificent Baroque architecture. We will also pass through the Portuguese Parliament (Sao Bento Palace) and the house of the legendary fado performer – Amalia Rodrigues.

As soon as we arrive to the historical district of Lisbon, we will take a look at such popular tourist attractions as the Belem Tower, grand Monument to the Discoveries (Padrão dos Descobrimentos) and the Jeronimos Monastery. I doubt that you would feel sleepy, but in any case we will make a little stop at a café so you could have some coffee. If you have a sweet tooth you would really enjoy our next destination – the widely known Pasteis De Belem, a very old Portuguese pastry shop. It is worth noting that all kinds of pastries sold at that shop were invented by the disciples of the Jeronimos Monastery.
