Corvinilor Castle is one of the most important tourist attractions in Romania. Located in the heart of Transylvania, 130 kilometers from Sibiu, the castle has not stopped impressing its visitors since it was built in the 15th century. A royal residence and witness to major historical events, the palace faced a sudden decline following a fire that burned all combustible parts in 1853. Although it was renovated after that, the splendor of the good times was never regained. Nevertheless, the castle remains an unmissable tourist attraction in Romania and at the same time the best example of a fortified noble residence of the Middle Ages in Transylvania.

The second stop will be at Alba Iulia, where we will visit the Vauban-type bastion fortress built in the century. 18 by the Austrians, after Transylvania became part of the Austrian empire. Preserved almost unchanged for over 2 centuries, the fortress was built on the site of a Roman fort and a medieval fortress.
