Hello! Let me introduce myself. My name is Elena, but many friends call me Alena. I'm from Kaliningrad – it is an Russian enclave at the Baltic sea.

After university I was German teacher at Immanuel Kant University in Kaliningrad, and in addition to my work I was since 2000 private guide for German people, who was born in east Prussia and had to leave it since 1945. Together we searched for their previous homes or home places in Königsberg – now Kaliningrad. This beautiful city has a very interesting, but also tragic history.
Since 2010 we have many English speaking tourists too. For over the years I learned English and this year I learn Spanish.

Now I am a private tour guide and director of a small guides group based in Kaliningrad.
My curiosity and insatiable desire to learn new things have led me to cultivate a particular interest in art and local history. I have long worked together with the major institutions, private museums, associations and national park Curonian Spit, in order to find out more about the exceptional cultural and natural heritage of my city and region. So that I can teach others about it with awareness and professional skill by offering my services as a private guide in Kaliningrad.
Since 2007 I have offered personalized private guide services and guided walking tours in Kaliningrad to hundreds of people, whether travelling as individuals, couples or groups. On my guided tours in Kaliningrad, I truly enjoy introducing people to our spectacular landscape of Curonian Spit, our magnificent "sand dunes", to German and Russian churches, castles, gates, towers and to our beer, food and culture.
I look forward to sharing my love for the art and history of Königsberg by exploring it with you. During my tours, we will follow a number of charming, interesting and evocative classical and non-touristic routes through Kaliningrad.
