Old Arbat Street: It’s not the longest, not the widest and not even the major street of the capital but it attracts millions of visitors every year. Old Arbat is just a kilometer-long strip connecting the Boulevard ring with the Garden ring. Arbat district is part of a medieval trade settlement, it's an encyclopedia of Russian history and culture from the Middle Ages to the Soviet era. Under an Arabic name, as one of the hypotheses has it, you will find the living history of Russia.
