Mijas is a little town in the beautiful province of Malaga. Most people say that in order to get a full impression of the Andalusian culture it is important to visit a typical white-washed Spanish village. Mijas is a very cozy place indeed. Mijas is situated in the center of the Costa del Sol region and it is a perfect place for those who are eager to immense into the atmosphere of village peace and harmony.

Mijas is notable for its numerous history museums and countless souvenir shops. It is the place where folk art is highly appreciated. It is worth noting that it was carved out of a solid piece of rock by an unknown monk in the Middle Ages.
