This is an historic expedition to explore the 18th century Ivory and Slave trade routes in East Africa. The journey will cover between 900 km to 1,250 km from Ujiji in Kigoma Tanzania up to Zanzibar via Bagamoyo town. The expedition will pass to the villages and sites where slaves passed. The Central Ivory and Slaves trade route is considered to be the longest route in East Africa which took up to 9 months of traveling by feets. 

It is within this route during the 18th century where many African slaves were taken to the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Reunion Island, USA, Seychelles, Mauritius and European countries. 

The Guide has 10 years experience in offering guided-tours to the places to be visited. This is a tour to learn and explore the past in our historic present. You will visit and see the structures, historical sites and environment where slaves passed during the 18th century. Email me if interested.

Tour price cover: Guides and drivers, car, fuel, lodges and campsites, breakfast and meals, Entry fees and all required permits, One (1) Way domestic Flight transfer and 1 way Dhow transfer. 

Tour price doesn't cover: International Flight tickets.

TERMS OF SERVICE:

1. Booking tour of this itinerary is guaranteed upon 75% payment of the agreed tour costs. Payments should be sent to the Guide via Bank Transfer at least 30 days before a date of arrival. 

2. A 50% Refund of a deposited amount is offered for any cancellation with notification at least 7 days before the tour start date. Refund discussion is not acceptable if done within 6 days to a date of arrival.

4. No refund for No-Show.

5. We don't charge travellers if they will change a date of tour.
