This tour covers the most important Byzantine monuments in Istanbul and takes about 7 to 8 hours.

Here is the list of the places we will visit

- Hagia Sophia, almost 1500 years old church, converted into a mosque by the Ottomans and now a museum.

- Basilica Cistern, the larges cistern of Byzantines built by Emperor Justinian.

- Theodosius Walls, ancient city walls from 5th century ad.

- Chora monastery, a tiny church housing an amazing number of Byzantine mosaics and frescoes.

- Pammacaristos church, the only church you can see the mosaic depicting the baptism of Jesus. Valens Aquaducts, an important part of Roman engineering survived in the city. Hippodrome, built by Septimius Severus and expanded by Constantine the great when he decided to move the Roman empire's capital to Byzantium which could hold 100.000 spectators.
