New York City is a very walkable city, and the best way to take in the sights and sounds of Manhattan is by foot and public transportation. Our itinerary will start at your hotel. We will subway down to Greenwich Village, the little Bohemia area of New York. Once a popular home to famous artists and writers lsuch as Woody Allen, Bette Midler, Bob Dylan, and William Burroughs, and a great place to see and hear, jazz, blues, cabaret, off Broadway Theater, and stand up comedy. Go eat at wonderful restaurants that offer a great variety of cuisines, including one of the best pizza places in New York city.

We will stop on our tour for pizza and at Roccos famous Italian bakery. See the brownstones, and sights where tv shows like Friends and Sex and The City were filmed. From Greenwich Village we head to the east village to visit Washington Square Park, New York University, and then make our way to Soho. Soho is home to fashion designers, loft aparments, great shopping, and old cast iron architecture. From there we continue our walk through Little Italy, and stroll down famous Mulberry Street. See where little Italy crosses Chinatown and learn about the changes the neighborhood has gone through.
