We had John as our tour guide for three days. He was excellent, very flexable,very informative and knowledgeable about his country. We without a doubt recommend him for any tours. He is very prompt and reasonable.
We enjoyed our time with him and he even took us to walmart.
My wife and I are very picky people. Mr. Gottlieb's sweet commanding voice filled with love and charm left little to be picky. Mr, Gottlieb went an extra mile to provide us the comfort and facility to ease our burden.
I excepted Mr. Gottlieb to leave us at the curb at Santiago airport, but, no he went to get us a cart, helped us put the baggage in and strolled us to the gate. He even took extra time to see that we check in, we may have missed our flight if we were left alone, guided us all the way to the immigration. But a wonderful person he turned out to be. In fact I had tears of joy in having spent a day with such a wonderful guide from Chile. He is indeed a true son of Chile. May God bless him and his loving family.

MY wife and I had John as our guide for two whole days in Deecember this year.I cannot reccomend him more highly.He was very friendly and informative and took us to some very intereting places.A must are the Volcanic pools in the Andes.Thank you John
We did a full day tour with John in July 2010. He took out to Valparaiso, up into the Andes and for a tour of Santiago. He was very accomodating and happily took us to locations that were of interest to us. We highly recommend John and in fact have invited him and his family to visit us in Australia sometime.
A group of 6 Australians travelled up the Maipo Canyon with John Gottleib on Saturday 30 November 2009. It was a wonderful journey though really exciting mountainous country - bleak and monotonal - wih glaciers, snowy mountains, and tumbling streams.
The transport was very comfortable, and John was an interesting and knowledgeable guide. We could travel at our pace and stop when we wanted. It was an easy day trip from Santiago.
