Customer's Opinions about guide from Dublin, Ireland
My first guided tour in Ireland was with Kieran in March 2012, and I consider myself very lucky in that regard. I cannot underscore enough just what a delightful, informative, and truly decent man Kieran is...his credentials are impeccable but his style is that of a master story-teller/adventurer--you are glued to his every word and always following his lead! As he effortlessly conducts you through your special tour, any issues which come up (long lines, traffic, weather, etc.) he makes "disappear" with a just wave of his hands, it seemed to me! What Kieran taught me on my first voyage to Ireland (through the Boyne Valley) proved to be most excellent knowledge insofar as my subseqent private return to Erin in November 2012 was concerned. And like others who've posted comments, I will always consider Kieran my friend. Thank you, sir, for your love of castles!
No matter what you do, if you plan to visit Ireland - HIRE KIERANS. Not only is he a wonderful and very kind human being, he has a thorough knowledge of his country and its history.
We travel extensively, as a family, and I can vouch that he is the best guide we have ever encountered in all those years on the road.
Ours was an experience never to be forgotten.
Mille fois merci Kierans for making us discover Dublin and its surroundings, for going out of your way to please us and, also, for sharing your secret.
You shall remain for ever our trusted Irish friend.
Kieran is wonderful. Our family of four toured with him in May of 2010 and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. He is a joy to be around and an excellent guide. Not only is he well versed in history, but he made it interesting for all of us. The kids enjoyed him as much as we did! We have had many guides throughout Europe and experiences vary greatly. Our high recommendations for Kieran are sent without hesitation. We began our tour in Dublin and Kieran's smiling face met us at the airport. His vehicle was immaculate and comfortable. We toured our second day to Wicklow and left the itinerary up to him. He did a brilliant job of taking us to lovely places. We returned to Dublin about a week later and toured again with Kieran to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. He found a hidden gem...the Burren Perfumery...where we had a delicious lunch and enjoyed his company. We can't thank him enough for the wonderful tours and hope to return soon to learn and enjoy more of Ireland...we want to see Dingle next!
Kieran took me, my husband and my friends on a tour of Dublin back in March, and we are still raving about it!!! He is the best. Mixing a vast knowledge, humor and just all around good naturedness - he is a great person, and we had a wonderful day. I highly recommend Kieran!!!
