Customer's Opinions about guide from Tangier, Morocco
Aziz is by far the best tour guide I have ever worked with. My daughter and two friends, students in Spain, were planning a trip to Chefchouen so I read refiews and contacted Aziz who inmediately answer all my questions, understood the experience I wanted for them, taylor made a truly remarkable expierence for them starting in the airport, recommending the hotel, traditional dishes, camel trekking, kasbah, cave of hercules and kaftan shop. They felt wellcomed, cared for, secure and as if they had know Aziz for years! He is so knownledgeable, respectful, responsible person and makes a tourist feel like a local and is so proud of his city! Dont hesitate to book your tour in Morocco with him...this is the best piece of advise you will get from a truly grateful mom... Thanks again Aziz!
As a solo female traveller, I was very impressed with Aziz. I travelled by train from Casablanca. He met me right at the station. He and his driver showed me all the important sights including taking a trip out to cap Spartel. Aziz was both informative and entertaining. At the end of the tour, I was taken right back to the train station. Thanks, Aziz and driver for a great tour.
Aziz was the best! Very accommodating and knowledgeable, and he made the tour fun for all of us. He knows everything and everyone in Tangier which made it easy to navigate around the city. Our local lunch was super yummy, too! #1 Aziz!
Aziz is great! On time, super knowledgeable, polite, excellent guide. He showed us everything in Fez. We stopped at medina and new parts of Fez, saw museums and were taking to the best photo shoot places. Aziz suggested great place to eat too. He is one of the best tour guides we ever had ( we traveled to 18 countries in 2 years). If you book your tour with Aziz, you will be happy!
Thanks to Aziz Saint Laurent for a wonderful tour of Tangier, Morroco. I could not imagine a better visit. Aziz was an excellent host and we saw areas of Tangier that we could have never seen on our own.
I have spent good time in chefchaouen. Enjoy the blue street and people there. We have quick view of the blue town and weather is hot there. The driver Mohammed is gentle man, he take good care of me. Then at night Aziz show me around the medina in Tangier. Really memorable experience. But it is a little expensive for day tour. 司机师傅特别好,带我一路逛,可以随时停车拍照,导游晚上会带你逛集市…他们很大方…
We had a wonderful trip to Tangier. Aziz was the best!!! He took so good care of us. He was easy to work with online. Very responsive. Gave great advice concerning the ferry. He pre-arranged our tickets and met us at the ferry terminal with a very nice air conditioned bus with a great driver - Abdul. We all, including our 4 teenagers instantly liked his warm, outgoing personality. He showed many great sites in and around the city. The market place was fascinating. He made sure no one harassed us. He took us to 2 great restaurants. He dropped us off at our hotel and the hotel was overbooked. We called him in a panic and he came back picked us up and made sure our rooms in the new hotel were nice. I recommend asking him to escort you for a night time tour as well. He took us to a fun restaurant and made us all dance. Very funny. The next morning he picked us up and guided us through ticketing and passport control and made sure we got on the boat back to Spain. He had the best personality!!! — Aziz we will miss you!!!!
Even though we made our plans fairly last minute, Aziz arranged for our round trip ferry tickets from Tarifa, so we could visit Tangier for the day from Estepona. We wanted to visit Morocco while on our tour of Costa Del Sol. Aziz was at the ferry dock to meet us and had a car and driver to whisk us away to begin our tour. We had discussed our wish list of what we wanted to see via e-mail, and he took us from site to site, and gave us great information along the way. We had a very interesting and pleasant day with Aziz.
Aziz is very knowledgeable about all the sites and the history of Tangier. He took us to places where most tours don't go so we could experience the real culture and people of Morocco. He was also very friendly and outgoing. He took us to great places to eat and for great photo opportunities.
Day trip to Tangier with Azia: We had a great day with Aziz in late August. We managed to see just about everything that the had said we would during a one day tour, despite the ferry arriving late in Tangier from Spain. My kids had a great day in Tangier (12 and 10), and it was a great mix of culture, vistas, shopping and food. Altough we had a great day, i would highly recommend staying a little longer as there was so much we wanted to take in but simply did not have the time. Also, whether you stay with a day trip or decide to stay a little longer, I would highly recommend hiring a private guide for at least one day. In our experiece, even though we had arranged for our tickets through our guide in advance, there was an error in Spain (my kids only had one way tickets!). The Spanish ferry people were not helpful or even cooperative, and needless to say, i was nervous about us all getting back together. Aziz has such incredible connections in Tangier that we did not need to wait in any lines to get the ticket issue settled - he simply called his connections to drop off the revised tickets. There is no way we would have gotten in settled on our own, as the return ferries were all sold out. I strongely suggest that you use a guide, especially if for your first time in a foreign country. Definately worth it, but much too short!
Aziz and one of his colleagues helped us to meet Tangier. It was only one day see-sighting trip in the middle of October 2011, but we had been given the chance to see the town from different angles and perspectives, to catch its unique and intricate atmosphere. Thank you for this!
I recently visited Tangier for the first time. I normally do not book a tour guide when visiting a new city but my time was limited and I wanted to make the most of my brief stay. There are many guides in Tangier and I exchanged emails with a few before deciding on Aziz. I had certain things I wanted to see and Aziz was more than accommodating. He has a great sense of humor and you immediately feel at ease in his company. The price he quotes you is the price you pay. Nothing extra, no hidden fee's or surprise costs. If there is an admission fee like there is at the caves of Hercules it is covered in the cost. Aziz is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on the subject of Tangier. I asked him about Andalusian music and he gave me a college level crash course over a glass of mint tea. He was friend of Hamri and Paul Bowles and he knows all the beat haunts. This was of particular interest to me but whatever your interests are Aziz will be happy to cater the tour to suit you. This isn't just a job for Aziz. He is like a great craftsman who has honed his skills and mastered his trade. He loves his work and it shows. If you are looking for a truly memorable experience while in Tangier than you need only to book a tour with Aziz. With Aziz you don't only get a fantastic tour of an amazing city, you get a friend for the day.
