Half day tour visiting the residential areas of San Isidro and Tigre, and the beautiful Delta of Paraná River, where we'll boat the narrow streams and rivers while enjoying the landscape and learning about the islanders unique lifestyle.
SAN ISIDRO is a beautiful residential area in the northern suburbs of Buenos Aires. Together with San Fernando, Vicente López and OLIVOS, where we’ll see the Presidential Residence, San Isidro is on of the wealthiest neighbourhoods in BA. Upon arrival, we will visit San Isidro’s historical area, with its neo-gothic cathedral, and the view point Tres Ombúes, where we will see some of the most outstading examples of colonial architecture in the area and one of the best views of the La Plata River, the widest river in the world.
After visiting San Isidro, our next destination is the city of TIGRE, where there are a great number of summer houses, charming cottages and rowing clubs. We will sail the rivers and streams of the first section of islands of the Delta of the Paraná River. While we go on a boat tour of the area, we will enjoy the beautiful landscape of the islands and learn about the lifestyle of the islanders. We will spot the unique architecture of the houses, the market-boats, bus-boats, and taxi-boats, among many other distinctive characteristics of the Delta.

My husband and I had a great day on the San Isidro and Tigre tour with Angeles. She was on time to our hotel and is so knowledgeable. We are not Tour people generally but really enjoyed the tour with Angeles...such a lovely lady who was happy to alter the tour to meet our needs. The day to San Isidro and the Tigre was so interesting as well as the drive through Buenos Aires on the way. Would definitely recommend Angeles and would have had more tours but we were on a conference and our time was occupied.
