OPTION 1: A 4 hours tour to discover and travel around this fantastic city. A panoramic view of BA, going around the most traditional neighborhoods: Puerto Madero, Retiro, Palermo, Centro (downtown); making 4 walking stops:
1. Plaza de Mayo (May Square): The heart of the city. Feel here the past and the present at the same time. Looking around you will find the Casa Rosada (Pink Palace), seat of National Government; the Metropolitan Cathedral of 18th century; the Cabildo – colonial town hall & the French style palace of the current city hall.
2. San Telmo: Colonial and bohemian neighborhood, where you can enjoy the traditional antique market every Sunday. The antique shops are open every day. You will see also here, an original house of 18th century where the aristocratic families used to live.
3. La Boca - Caminito: The most colorful and famous tango street, full of painters and art. You will see the typical corrugated iron houses where the immigrants used to live in, making this place known once as the "little Italy" of BA. Live tango music and dance is here every day.
4. La Recoleta Cemetery: Famous because of the personalities buried there, like Evita Peron. It has more than five thousands graves with magnificent architecture and artistic value. Its mausoleums are unique in the world. It is an open air museum.
OPTION 2: 8 hours. This tour offers you a visit of the city more in detail. We will know the main BA highlights, like in the half day tour, adding others neighborhoods and walking stops. A walking through the Calatrava or Woman Bridge, symbol of Puerto Madero neighborhood. A visit to the El Rosedal (rose gardens) at Palermo Park. A promenade in the river area, Costanera Norte. Arrival at the Parliament building & Congreso square.
The Lavalle square, where the Supreme Court & the Colon Theatre are located, also the opera house. A drink in the oldest coffee house of the city which keeps its original 19th century furniture: the Tortoni Café (meeting place of musicians, writers, painters and artists of old times). A visit to the oldest subway built in 1914, still working, with its wooden coaches. All this .. & much more!!
