Bandarban is a historical name, historically I knew that "Bandor" is Bangla word, meaning is Monkey but in Burmese word is " Myok" meaning is Monkey. "Ban" in Bangla is Jungle and in Burmese is "Taw". It become knows Bandarban and more...recent Government of Bangladesh declared tourism reason. Bandarban is the home town and the Bohmong Chief Traditionally is tribe King/Raja. The Moghs/Marma are of Myanmar origin and Buddhists by religion, jovial and carefree by nature. The Moghs/Marma are simple and hospitable people. In the Bandarban have another tribe there are Murangs, Bom, Khumi, Lushai and Chak, Chakma and Taungchangya and diver’s language, culture, tradition, dress, music and dance.
