This full day tour will give you the opportunity to discover the Netherlands by visiting very specific highlights in one day. We can extend this tour in 2 or 3 days, visiting more of the great sites this country has to offer.

We will leave Brussels early and make our first stop at KINDERDIJK. To drain the POLDERS (reclaimed lands), a system of 19 windmills was built in 1740. This group of mills is the largest concentration of old windmills in the Netherlands. They have been a UNESCO HERITAGE SITE since 1997.

On our way to AMSTERDAM, a must will be to visit the beautiful and most historical DELFT. In 1246, Delft received its municipal franchise from the Dutch Count Willem II. Delft prospered and new districts were added. By 1355 most of the historic city center would remain. Delft is still surrounded and crossed by these beautiful and romantic canals. A must would be to visit the "Royal Delft". Founded in 1653, it is the last DELFT factory of the 17th century.

A must will be the canal tour. Discovering the real history from the water is completely different. We will have time to walk around and possibly visit the Van Gogh museum or the Anne Frank house (for example). Before our return to Brussels, I would suggest having a nice candlelight dinner
