One-Day Longji Rice Terraces Tour

Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 9:00 AM. After a two-hour drive, we will arrive at the Longji parking lot, where we will purchase entry tickets to the Longji Rice Terraces. You can take a short 10-minute break before we continue.

Exploring Longji Ping’an Rice Terraces

Next, we head to the Ping’an Rice Terraces, the most famous and picturesque terraces, first discovered by photographers and travelers. From the Ping’an parking lot, we will walk up via stone stairs through Ping’an Zhuang Village, where you can witness the Zhuang people’s daily life and admire their traditional wooden stilt houses.

Our first stop is the No. 2 Viewing Platform, where the landscape resembles "Seven Stars with the Moon". We will then take a scenic flat walking path to the No. 1 Viewing Platform, passing through bamboo groves, rice terraces, and mountain landscapes. From here, enjoy a panoramic view of the Longji Rice Terraces before descending back to the parking lot.

Visit to Huangluo Red Yao Village

We will then drive to Huangluo Village, a charming settlement at the foot of a mountain, next to a beautiful river. This village is home to the Red Yao people, famous for their incredibly long hair, reaching up to 7 feet! Here, you can observe local women embroidering dresses, explore traditional wooden houses, and meet the Yao long-haired ladies.

Traditional Lunch Experience

In Huangluo Village, we will enjoy an authentic local lunch, featuring specialties such as:

• Sticky bamboo rice
• Bamboo chicken
• Smoked pork with bamboo shoots

After a memorable day exploring the Longji Rice Terraces, we will drive back to Guilin (about two hours). You can relax or take a nap during the journey. We expect to arrive at your hotel around 6:00 PM.
