Parque Bicentenario is the second biggest city park in Quito and features a man-made pond and incredibly over one thousand trees. Pululahua Geobotanical Reserve is famous for the Pululahua volcano, whose crater is visible from a particular location that can be arrived at by automobile. It is believed to be one of only a few in the world where people actually live. Maquipucuna Reserve shelters more than 1966 species of plants and almost 400 bird species. Museo de Arte Contemporaneas showcases interesting permanent and temporary displays. Casa del Alabado has a collection of pre-colonial art.
