The present two-day tour is perfect for cruise visitors who are docking in Alexandria or Port Said. Once you dock at the port your Egypt private guide meets you and drives you to Cairo, which is the destination for the tour's first day.

Once in Cairo, we first stop in the Museum of Egypt. This massive collection of ancient artifacts is considered as the biggest of its kind in the world. Thousands of exhibits that are between 2,000 and 5,000 years old will tell you the story of the most developed civilization of its time. Explore the amazing jewelry, statues, religious and everyday items to see how people used to live here thousands of years ago. After the museum excursion we'll continue to the Cairo Citadel, which is almost a thousand years old and represents a great example of Arab engineering genius. In the citadel we'll also visit the Ottoman Alabaster Mosque, which is the largest and the most picturesque mosque in the city. Once the night sets over Cairo we'll go to a 5* hotel for your accommodation.

The second day of the tour starts with a refreshing breakfast before continuing with the most renowned site in Egypt - Great Pyramid of Giza. You'll have plenty of time to explore this canonic site located just outside the city, with the three great pyramids and the sphinx. A camel ride will be included to the tour, which is a perfect way to experience the pyramids. Then we'll proceed to the Saqqara complex that houses the Pyramid of Djoser. This step pyramid is the oldest of its kind, and is among the most ancient stone structures on the planet. After exploring the pyramid and the stunning surrounding complex it's time to head back to your port.

If you're docking in Alexandria and have some time before departure, there will also be a short overview tour of the city, which certainly has many fascinating places that are worth visiting.
