The second-most populated city in Africa, located in Ethiopia is Addis Ababa. It’s the capital city yet has the status of both a city and a state. It’s often referred to as the political capital of Africa. It’s officially called the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The African Union, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and The Federation of African Societies of Chemistry are located here. Jan Meda Race Ground, a horse racing track where you can also watch traditional Ethiopian sports, such as genna, a sport similar to hockey and gugs, a kind of tag played on horseback.
