The aimed region is located 100 miles away from the capital city, to the north direction, right in the middle of the Caucasian mountain range.  Altitude  of the Sattlements  vary in between  1800-2250m ASL. The most beautiful attractions of this area is one of the biggest and beautiful mountains of the Caucasus - Kazbegi mount, otherwise Mkunvartsveri (5033m ASL) and Gergeti Trinity Church (14th century) located at about 2300m ASL, that`s nicly visible from the town with the background of Kazbegi mountain.
On the way to kazbegi, travellers would be able to  visit  following places: Mtskheta town (2500 Y.O. city), Jvari monastic complex (6th century), Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century), Ananury Fortress(16-17th centuries), Jvari pass (2400m ASL), minerals area, Saint Trinity church, Russian border and nice waterfall and an alpine village - Juta (mostly from May).
