Meeting Point

• We will meet by the entrance of the Restaurant Suisse in Piazza Esedra.

Itinerary

• Quadriporticum of the Theatres
  We will visit this ancient structure that once served two functions: a garden with tuff columns and later a training area for gladiators.
• Big Open Theatre
  One of the most impressive structures of Pompeii, still used today for events and performances.
• Small Covered Theatre
  A beautifully preserved space where musical and theatrical performances once took place.
• Via Stabiana
  We will walk along this ancient Greek transit street, exploring some of Pompeii’s most important shops.
• Menandro’s House
  One of the grand noble houses in Pompeii, famous for its mosaics and frescoes.
• Greek Decumanus
  A main street lined with ancient shops, where we will learn about commerce in Pompeii.
• Thermal Baths & Plaster Casts
  I will explain how the Roman bath system worked, and we will visit the masculine section of the baths. You will also see one of the famous plaster casts of a Pompeii resident.
• Pompeii’s Main Square (Forum)
  We will end our tour in Pompeii’s central square, surrounded by temples, administrative buildings, and a breathtaking view of Vesuvius—a perfect spot for photos!
