A Day at Pompeii

Culture and History tour in Pompeii

Tour Price : 300 euros Duration : 6,5 hours Languages: Italian, English, Spanish

Why a day tour at Pompeii?

The peculiarities of Pompeii are in the possibility to understand its town-planning and in the opportunity to reconstruct the everyday life at Roman times walking through its roads, visiting its buildings and private houses, entering into the markets and admiring painting, mosaics and every day objects.

The Sun path marked the daily activities of the inhabitants in ancient Pompeii. The shops opened at down and the Forum got filled with merchants and sellers. People went to the Baths, also opened to slaves and went to numerous pubs to get a warm meal or a game of dice. The amphitheater represented the main attraction in town. Its performances were popular but they were also the occasion for their sponsors to improve their cursus honoris.

The brothels were also very popular as the places destined to sexual pleasure. The cosmopolitan atmosphere and a mixing of different religions were created by the presence of a very busy port.

COME TO REWIEW THOSE ATMOSPHERES WIT AN UNFORGATEBLE DAY TOUR!
