Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Buffalo Springs
Your journey begins in Nairobi, where our friendly Jossec Safaris team will greet you and provide a detailed briefing. We then head north to Buffalo Springs National Reserve, a serene haven teeming with wildlife. After check-in at Ashnil Samburu Camp or an equivalent lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive. Look out for the Grevy’s zebra, elephants, and the vibrant birdlife. As the sun sets, return to the lodge to unwind and enjoy your first night in the wild.

Day 2: Explore Buffalo Springs and Transfer to Samburu
Start your day with an exciting morning game drive in Buffalo Springs, where the lush scenery is home to oryx, giraffes, and baboons. After breakfast and check-out, we proceed to Samburu Sopa Lodge, nestled within the Samburu National Reserve. Following lunch and some relaxation, set out on an afternoon game drive to witness the famous Samburu Special Five—unique species found only in this region.

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
Spend a full day exploring the stunning Samburu Reserve, from its rolling landscapes to its diverse wildlife. Spot predators like lions and leopards alongside the gentle giants of the plains. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush to maximize our game viewing time. After a day filled with wildlife encounters, return to your lodge to savor a hearty dinner and the evening’s tranquility.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi
