Information about Valletta

Airport - Malta International Airport is located 3 miles southwest of the capital Valletta and getting there has been made simple. Airport has a good amount of facilities with which to greet the tourist on arrival.
Shopping - The main street of Valletta is Republic street, a busy pedestrian zone leading down the middle of the Peninsula from the main gate down to Republic square, this is where many of the better shops are located, although it cannot quite compete with Sliema for clothing. The best souvenirshop (the least worthless trinkets etc.) can be found at the Malta experience, but there are many other reasonable souvenir shops in Valletta.

Private Guide in Valletta - Alyona

(Member Since 2009) Excursions/tous in the following cities: Valletta Languages: English, Russian

My name is Alyona and I will be glad to serve as your private guide in Valetta and any other part of Malta. The compact nature of this country makes it very easy to explore its beauties, which are abundant and very diverse. On the one hand, there are places like Valetta and Mdina, where you can enjoy the marvelous architectural landmarks such as churches, cathedrals, castles, trade houses and fortifications. On the other hand, the countryside has remarkable landscapes and untouched nature that hasn't changed much over the centuries. So there's something to please any type of traveler in Malta.
