Greater Tangier

 On this Best of Tangier tour we will explore the highly prestigeous residential area of jebel Kabir (the Old Mountain) passing palaces belonging to kings and royalty, then you continue to Cape Spartel, where the seas (Atlantic and Mediterranean) mingle, the drive continues along the Atlantic coast with its magnificent beaches, some of which used to be for nudists back in the sixties attracting a lot of hippies who belonged to the school of make love not war. Then we stop at the mythical caves of Hercules where you can witness the glory of the Greek mythology. When you head down the mountain you will enjoy fantastic views as the city spreads out before you in all its glory before reaching The Kasbah. 

The Kasbah

 In your Private tour you will also visit the 17thc legendary Kasbah(Watch Tower) with its ramparts and battlements dating back to the 16th century ; where you can recall the good old days when celebrities such as The Rolling Stones, Jim Morisson and Bob Dylan among many more enjoyed their heydays and probably listen to(Rock The Kasbah) by the Clash.The main square of the Kasbah is one of the main attractions of the area where some times snaque charmers perform to the enjoyment of visitors. Medina of Tangier is considered  to be the most spectacular in the arab world. It simply means the old arab town before the arrival of the europeans to Morocco.

Once there the clocks turn back on time as you walk deep into medieaval Tangier with its old labyrinthic and often chaotic streets and blind alleyways ; yet thriving with incredible street life.
