The imperial cities tour is extremely popular among the tourists and travelers due to the fact that all the four cities are top tourist destinations in Morocco. It is worth noting that all the four cities used to be capitals of Morocco during different periods of time. The imperial cities are Rabat, which is the current capital, Marrakech, the legendary red city, Fes, the so-called spiritual and cultural center of Morocco, and Meknes, the African Versailles.
 
We will start with a little sightseeing tour in Tangier.  In spite of the fact that it is not an imperial city, it is very ancient and represents great interest for the history devotees. There are numerous places in Tangier that are definitely worth seeing:  the famous Kasbah (Kasbah Museum), old Moroccan fortification which currently serves as a museum of Moroccan art, Cap Spartel, the closest point to Europe, Hercules caves, the very caves where according to the myth Hercules was having rest after fulfilling all the 12 labors.
 
Our next destination will be Rabat.  We will definitely visit such places as the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and Rabat archeological museum. On the next day we will have a private tour in Marrakech. It used to be called as the “Morocco City”, and was considered to be the “Pearl of the South”.
