When choosing a private tour in Amsterdam, there are many places to discover and explore. If you’re limited with a single day for the tour, then things get really interesting and the selection of sites boils down to your personal interests. With this tour, however, you get a really peculiar perspective on Amsterdam and the surrounding areas as you will gradually discover the transition from the pastoral landscapes and places that carry a strong traditional feel to the busiest and most contemporary attractions of the city center.

Our morning will start with the Zaanse Schans village, where you will see the production of the famous wooden shoes and cheeses – two of the most notable symbols of the Netherlands. Then we’ll continue the tour to Volendam, a former fishing village with traditional houses, before crossing the Zuiderzee Lake on a boat. This trip will conclude the first part of our tour before going straight to the capital.

In the afternoon, the Amsterdam tour will first lead you to one of the famous museums of the capital, according to you preference (Van Gogh, Rijks or any other). Then you’ll enjoy a picturesque boat ride along the numerous canals intersecting the center of the city. And as the sun sets we’ll head over to the ever-busy Dam square with its numerous attractions, and of course the Red Light District and its provoking nightlife sites and various old buildings worth admiring.
