The city of Bohol is situated in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.  This area is popular among tourists because of its exquisite beaches and resorts.  One of the awesome beaches is Alona Beach.  For anyone who likes to go diving, Panglao Island is a famous spot to do so.  

Tagbilaron is a tourist pier that accommodates  more than 4,000 people each day and  is an interesting site to visit.  Each year, Bohol is  beautifully decorated for  its annual banquet with an abundance of savory food that is free of charge.  Roasted pig known as “lechon baboy” is traditionally served at the fiestas.  The Festival of Lights is during Fiesta Week, August 30th through September 8th.  The most prominent landmark is without a doubt Chocolate Hills.  This wonder was formed from mounts of limestone creations.  They are a cluster of  hills that turn brown in color for the duration of the dry season and appear "chocolate". This is really a must-see while in the Philippines!

In Bohol, guests enjoy tasty cuisine such as fish, chicken, pork, and vegetables. November through April is mild weather with rain once in a while.  May through July is warm and humid.  August through October isn’t too predictable but sometimes can get rain.  All in all, Bohol is a destination spot that provides so much to be enjoyed by travelers.
