Poland is a wonderful country to visit. It has countless attractions and places of interest for any tourist or traveler. It is worth noting that several legendary people were born in Poland. Among them are the well-known astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, Frederick Chopin, Lech Walesa and of course Pope John Paul II. The tour lasts from 8 to 10 days depending on your desire and opportunities. The itinerary is also flexible, which means that you can choose which cities to visit, and which to skip. We will start in Torun, which is famous as a birth-place of Nicolaus Copernicus. As the matter of fact it is a very ancient city literally full of mysteries and breath-taking views. The old part of Torun which dates back to medieval times was labeled as a Word Heritage Site by UNESCO. Some people even consider it to be one of the so-called seven wonders of Poland.

After a thorough exploration of Torun we will proceed to Frombork. It is another interesting place to visit. According to historians it is the city where Nicolaus Copernicus worked for a long time and eventually buried in a cathedral tomb. Krakow is our next stop.  It is worth noting that it is one of the oldest cities in the whole Poland. For centuries it has been the heart of Polish academic, artistic and cultural life.

Actually it still is, as far as it is the second largest city. After we explore the highlights of Krakow we proceed to Gdansk, the so-called capital of amber. We will have a private tour in Gdansk, and this way you will have an opportunity to get acquainted with such place as St. Mary’s Church, the famous Long Market Square, and the Mariachka Lane.
