This is a short walking tour along the main sights of Gdansk. During approximately three hours you will be exploring all the most interesting and intriguing places and tourist destinations of the so-called capital of amber. Private tours in Gdansk are always in demand because this remarkable city has much to offer for any tourist or traveler. History connoisseurs will find out a lot of interesting things about Poland and its culture; those who are interested in architecture will have an opportunity to visit some of the most remarkable and unique edifices and castles; music devotees will discover the grandeur and charm of the legendary 7600 pipe organ in the Oliwa cathedral.

As your private guide in Poland I will be assisting you during the tour and sharing all the experience and knowledge I have on the subject of the Polish culture, traditions, and history. We may start the tour either in the modern part of the city or in the old part. It is worth noting that our private walking tour includes visiting all the historic places of the city which used to be called Hanseatic Danzig – Gdansk. We will definitely take a look at the King’s Road which starts from the Golden Gate and goes to the Green Gate. Afterwards we will proceed to the Motlawa river with the well-known symbol of Gdansk – the Great Crane. The tour finishes at the gate of the Solidarity famous shipyard.

Any tourist would strongly advice you to visit the legendary Mariacka Lane – a popular vanity fair among foreigners. It is natural that tourists are eager to buy something that would remind them of the places they discovered in Poland. Mariacka Lane is a perfect place to buy souvenirs for your closest and dearest (amber forever!).  We will also visit St. Mary’s church which is considered to be the biggest brick church in the whole world.
