The network of Concentration Camps was one of the most powerful and terrifying weapons of mass destruction designed by the German Army and politics during Second World War. Millions of people lost their lives between 1939 and 1945 on the territory of present Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Austria or Czech Republic.

Some of those Camps vanished from the land and some of them were preserved to remind to the people the cruelty of war and to hold them back from repeating the same errors in future. KL Stutthof, which is located around 60 kilometres from Gdańsk was created just a day after Second World War started and was liberated as the last Camp on the territory of present Poland. Located in an isolated part of Pomerania, far from big towns and cities it witnessed the death of more 65 thousand of man, women and children from more than 20 nationalities.

The visit to the Camp starts with passing the Death-Gate and after that we pay visit to the barracks, crematory, gas chamber. The our is not recommended for minors under 13 years of age and for those of faint heart as some of the images and descriptions may be found disturbing. The tour itself can take around 4 -5 hours including the drive from Gdańsk.
