Hello and welcome to St. Petersburg. My name is Raisa and I’m an authorized and professional guide in this beautiful city. I started to work as a tour guide in 2003 and I’m a fully licensed guide and a member of Association of Professional Guides of St. Petersburg.
Art and languages have always been my passion. I have graduated from the State University of St. Petersburg where I studied languages, history and art. Now I provide tours in English and Spanish. I regard history not as a number of dates and names – I always try to create the atmosphere of the epoch I’m speaking about, to go beyond simple facts so that you could get an impression, something that you could keep in your hearts when dates and names fade away.
I enjoy travelling myself and I know how important it is to get the right emotions and to see everything that is worth seeing in a place where you'll probably be just once in your life.
Working with you as a guide I will tailor your programme so that you could see everything that is of interest for you in the time that you have. You will avoid unpleasant lines to the museums and will learn not only about the past of Russia and St. Petersburg, but also about present day life from a local.
