  Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce myself. My name is Oxana; I’ve been working as a guide since 1999, I have licenses to run the excursions in almost all main museums and suburban palaces of Saint-Petersburg. 
    As I love the city where I live, so all tourists to whom I show this terrific city are adorned by it. During my practice I have met people of different nationalities (Americans, British, Australian, Indian, Indonesian, Turkish and others) so I pretty well acquainted with customs and habits of people from different countries. Such features of my character as openness, open-minded and friendliness (and modesty:-) make it easy to associate with people of different nationalities and to meet their demands.      
    I remember the moment when I was describing artistic moments on the canvas of Titian “St.Sebastian” in the Hermitage and suddenly I saw that one of the ladies was crying.  I stopped telling thinking something bad had happened with this tourist. And to my question what happened there was an answer: “You describe it so vividly…. I never would believe that I would see this picture by myself with such a story behind it…” So I would like you to get acquainted with remarkable places of Saint-Petersburg, its pompous former imperial palaces, just amazing collections and exhibitions of wonderful museums (believe me there are so many of them in our city that is why sometimes Saint-Petersburg is called the museum under the open air) by yourselves and being here understand that that’s not a dream J.
    If you are interested more in the revolution past of Russia, or in literary tours, or in common live of ordinary citizens – every your wish will be granted with pleasure. Either you are a family with kids, or that’s your honey-moon (lucky you! :-), or people who are always eager to meet with new impressions and knowledge – to everybody there is a special approach. Also – accommodation in private apartments, Visa support, cars, transfers….

I have been traveling to Russia for almost 30 years and I can honestly say that Oxana Prokofyeva was the best guide I have ever had. The most recent trip was with a mixed group of teens, young adults and adults. Oxana was able to relate to each and every one of them and make them feel at home. Her English is impeccable and she would teach the group Russian along the way. Oxana was able to sort out any problems we may have encountered very promptly and discretely. She also was able to arrange on the fly extra things to do that were not in the official itinerary. If you are ever thinking about a trip to Russia in the future I would highly recommend Oxana Prokofyeva as your guide.
