Day 1 - Dakar Meeting in the airport of Dakar, transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 - Dakar - Pink Lake - Saint Louis -268 km After the breakfast, you will leave in 4x4 to the Pink lake, discover the Peulhs villages, traverse the dunes where the rally of Paris Dakar arrive. you will be able to bathe in the lake or the swimming pool. Then, departure to Saint-Louis, night in your hotel.
 
Day 3 - Saint Louis – Diama dam – Jawling park Trarza desert-200 km After the breakfast, departure to Diama dam to across the border to Mauritania, visit the park of Jawling , Greater than 16 000 hectares, it contains a fauna and flora of a rich and very diverse., it receive every year many species of migratory birds that take refuge there. Traverse Keurmecen region, stop at nomads camps in the road to discover the live style of the Mauritanian nomad’s .camping with tents in the Trarza desert.

Day 4 – Trarza desert - Nouakchott – Azouega -410km Departure to Azouega dune, traverse Nouakchott and Akjoujt. From there we will take the track to Azouega , one of biggest dunes in Mauritania, visit the oasis of Azouega , discover the population culture , night in camping.

Day 5 –Azouega – Mont of Zarga – Chinguitty - 180km Departure to Chinguitty , visit the mount of Zarga , beautiful mount in centre of Adrar desert , visit oasis of Adrar region , connect with the nomads of the area , discover their culture , their simple live , arrive Chinguitty , the seventh holy city of Islam declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Night in a Motel.

Day 6 –Chinguitty – Trek with camels Full day in Chinguitty the more ancient city in Mauritania, in morning having tour in its libraries and quarters and its oases, then take the camels for a trekking for 1 hour to the oasis of Tkimkimt( 15 km from Chinguitty) , visit the oasis , lunch under the palms , in evening enjoy the sunset on the big dune of Chinguitty . Night in a Motel. Chinguitty mean " Well horse" ,This city would be buried by large waves of quicksand ,Some sources establish the foundation of Chinguetty to (1261). Chinguitty was on the caravan route linking northern Sudan. It traded gold and ivory against the salt, wheat, dates etc… This road was the main access to the gold and other products from the Sudan. The ancient city was a centre of religious and cultural influence from which scientists Mauritanian spread Islam and the Arab-Muslim culture in the entire West Africa. Chinguitt was, in effect, a cultural centre where they studied, among other subjects, theology, poetry, philosophy and law .The Minaret of Chinguitt (topped by the symbolic ostrich egg) has become the symbol of Mauritania called until recently “Bilad Chinguitt”.

Day 7 – Chinguitty – Passe of Amogjar – Oasis Terjit 105 km Visit the Passe of Amogjar, a beautiful canyon, where we will see some amazing prehistoric paintings and the “Fort Saganne”, built by the French. visit the markets of Atar, arrive oasis Terjit the most beautiful oasis in Mauritania, with its thermal springs and marvellous pools for bathing .This oasis greenery is nestled in a hollow of the valley, very appreciated by tourists for its beauty and freshness,. The palm is crossed by several sources, including a hot water to taste falls along the rocky cliffs covered with ferns and mosses. it is powered by two sources giving tourists the opportunity to swim in cool in the desert. In the small village of Terjit, camel races are sometimes held on Saturday afternoon. Camping with tents in Terjit desert.

Day 8 -Oasis Terjit – Nouakchott - 400 km Return to Nouakchott; This name reflects the fact that the Neolithic site of the present city was occupied by the sea, and today there are still many shells on the coast., visit the fishing port with it colorful with all the boats of various colors. The return of boats in the late afternoon is an original performance, visit the craft market, the Main Mosque with it two minarets. Day use in hotel. Flight evening.
