I am a Licensed Tour Guide in the entire area of Stockholm since 2006 and I love it! I can take you on a short sightseeing or I can guide you for several days. We can visit museums and go there by bus, car, boat or do you prefer by bike?

Stockholm is an incredible place to visit with many enjoyable attractions and pleasant activities. You can see the best of the city by allowing a knowledgeable local guide such as Sofia Lindh to take you on a private guided tour of Stockholm. Your guide will gladly design a tour to suit your particular wishes, including the types of places you want to visit and the means you’d prefer for travel, whether by car, boat or even bicycle.

There are many bridges connecting the fourteen different islands that make up the city of Stockholm, and these romantic waterways have given the city the nickname, “The Venice of the North.” Just as in Venice, one of the most relaxing ways to enjoy sightseeing in Stockholm is by boat. If you take a guided boat tour of Stockholm with Sofia Lindh as your guide, you will also be treated to the interesting anecdotes and historical background of the places you see during your tour.

You can see Stockholm as an ancient, historical city with many notable landmark buildings and monuments along the way, including visits to places like the Royal Palace, and the historical town center of Gamla Stan. You can visit many unique museums during your guided tour of Stockholm, such as the Skansen Open-Air Museum, the Vasa Museum, the Moderna Museet, the Swedish Museum of Natural History and Cosmonova, and the unique Fotografiska, which is an enormous contemporary photography display.

Stockholm also offers many modern attractions, such as the amazing Ericsson’s Globe, which as an enormous round building that features the SkyView observation deck and its breathtaking panoramic view of the entire city. The Butterfly House is another popular modern addition to Stockholm’s list of attractions, featuring Stockholm’s oldest winter garden and hundreds of species of exotic butterflies, as well as parrots, frogs and other tropical creatures not native to this northern climate.

You are certain to enjoy discovering the unique charms of this beautiful Scandanivian city during your private guided tour of Stockholm with professional guide, Sofia Lindh.

Sofia was a great guide and she gave us an interesting day in Stockholm. We saw the Vasa museum and the old town then took a trip on the metro to an interesting cemetery. She is knowledgeable and friendly and gave us lots of exercise.
