Onur is born in Mersin but moved to Istanbul in his early 20s due to the passion he holds for the city.
Onur grew up admiring history, philosophy, and archeology. From a young age, he spent time learning about Turkey's history - and the influence of his mother who is a teacher and father who enjoyed his literature - exhibits in his delivery as a guide.

He enjoys interacting with people and teaching them about history. What is unique to his service, is his ability to cater to the needs and learning styles of the people he interacts with.

Onur also enjoys reading historical and philosophical literature from around the world. So if you are into philosophy, be sure to pick his brain and teach him a bit of your knowledge during breaks, as he enjoys a good conversation. He is also able to guide travelers in navigating cities across Turkey.
